Listen to replies as they arrive, crop images before sending them, and choose upload dimensions. This release also improves conversation previews and gives coding agents a more compact way to inspect source files.

New

Added support for Gemini 4 Argon.
Listen to assistant replies while they are still being written. Playback continues as the response finishes, with pause, resume, stop, and replay controls.
Crop images in the image editor. Choose upload-size presets or a custom maximum dimension, while retaining originals.
Open files and images outside your workspace as read-only previews without adding their folders to the workspace.
Coding agents can inspect outlines of Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript files, including React components, before reading individual implementations.

Improved

Conversation hover cards now show usage, message counts, and time since the last message. Improved tab previews, scrolling, and keyboard shortcuts make switching and closing tabs easier.
Generated commit messages and conversation titles use more relevant context from the conversation and its changes.

Fixed

Fixed composer layout shifts during preview resizing, microphone-shortcut focus in new conversations, and change counts disappearing during refreshes.
Corrected Gemini reasoning-level handling and kept coding subagents available when optional research modes are disabled.
