Local Hoist v0.1.4
June 28, 2026
Adds parallel sub-agent fan-out, a clearer file-grouped changes view with stronger rollback support, collapsed backlog capture with recording feedback, smoother settings and working-directory controls, and reliability polish for approvals, linting, and packaged builds.
New
- Added parallel sub-agent fan-out for supported modes so Local Hoist can split multiple independent coding, research, or web-research requests across child agents and return one combined result.
- Added a file-grouped Changes view that organizes reads, edits, runs, and external changes by file with clearer counts, line totals, diff previews, and focused restore controls.
- Added collapsed backlog capture affordances, including a compact drop zone and recording indicators so you can keep capturing ideas even when the right panel or backlog card is minimized.
Improved
- Sub-agent settings now include per-mode max-parallel controls, and sub-agent tool calls render request lists in a more readable format.
- Settings and configuration modals now close consistently with Escape while preserving nested confirmations, dropdowns, and expanded skill details.
- The Working Directory modal now includes recent-directory shortcuts and keyboard selection, and active conversations sync directory changes more reliably.
Reliability
- Parallel sub-agent file changes now flow into summaries, hooks, rollback, and active-conversation metadata so multi-agent edits remain visible and reversible.
- Reduced approval and tool-result UI flicker, especially for auto-approved tools and messages that should start collapsed.
- Improved packaged JavaScript and CSS linting so lint checks no longer trigger a stray Dock icon or depend on launching the packaged app as a Node runtime.
