v0.0.6 sharpens Local Hoist's realtime voice experience and makes cost reporting clearer. This update improves realtime setup and defaults, adds better guidance around OpenAI API key requirements and pricing, and makes realtime session summaries and long-conversation cost views more accurate.

Improved

  • Improved realtime assistant setup with clearer bring-your-own OpenAI API key guidance, availability checks, and a direct path to API key settings when access is missing.
  • Updated realtime voice defaults to GPT Realtime 1.5 and expanded the configuration panel with clearer explanations of scope, limits, and best-effort pricing.
  • Improved the Estimated Cost panel for long conversations by capping charts at the latest 1,000 messages and clearly noting that totals still cover the full conversation.

Reliability

  • Improved realtime session accounting so turns, costs, and token details are recorded more accurately and are less likely to be double-counted.
  • Reduced duplicate realtime transcript lines and added richer session summaries with clearer token and cost breakdowns after voice sessions end.
  • Improved chat composer resizing so the input auto-grows more predictably while still respecting manual resize choices.
